    • Make sure the USB-C port on your laptop is full-founction,then active your laptop after connected.

     

    HDMI & USB-A Connection:

     

    • Check the back of the laptop monitor extender，make sure you have connect the HDMI to USB-C cable insert in the HDMI port of the screen extender(There's font identification).
    • Use another USB-A to USB-C cable to connect your laptop and the portable monitor to power on the screen extender,then active your laptop after connected.
    It may be that your laptop is low battery or voltage is insufficient,use an extra USB-A to USB-C cable to power your laptop or the monitor extender.
    It may be that your laptop does not have enough power. Please charge the monitor with an extra power supply that provide 5V/2A.
    Please activate your laptop screen, avoid putting your computer to sleep.

    Yes, you will need to additionaly change the screen orientation.

    For Windows System: Select the Start button, then type settings. Select Settings > System > Display and choose a screen orientation from the drop-down list next to Display orientation.

     

    For MacOs System: On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Displays in the sidebar.

    Versatile & Great Value!

    Love how versatile this monitor extender is. I can use it attached to my laptop, or detach it. I can also use it in landscape or portrait mode which is GREAT for my work purposes as I can track my bill on one screen while I work on the other. The display is really crisp and beautiful and it was as simple as plugging it in and off I went.

    This display is convenience personified

    The P5 display extender, when used as a second display, gave me the ability to add more display real estate and the ability to work on two applications at the same time when I use my MacBooks on the road. I am able to attach it to the left or right sides of the laptop screen. When Im in my home office and my laptop is docked, I am still able to use this product as part of my display set as a standalone monitor, as a two-set or three-display set combination. Its the perfect complement for my display needs. Its plug-and-play, right out of the box; its ready to go. This is a winner for people on the go as well as some users who are remote workers. I highly recommend this as the perfect solution for individuals that have the convenience of working at home on 2 or even 3 monitors, having that same capability on the road. That is next-level productivity.

    Portrait mode!

    I have found a screen extender that doesnt have to be attached to my laptop and that I can use in portrait mode! The screen is just as big as my laptop and it was easy to setup going off the instructions. The back of the screen has the ports labeled which made it super convenient.

    Unique design on the stand making this display very versatile

    the Hybrid design where the display itself can be removed from the mounting bracket that hook onto the laptop display is a win! i use it as stand alone monitor majority of the time, when there are situation needed to mount to the display panel, but occasionally doing so. i absolutely love the design, if it comes with 2K display resolution, it will be even better, but the 1080p works just fine and clear enough for screen this size.
